frequently asked questions
- Do you deliver every image you shoot?
-
The short answer to this question is no, you will not see every image taken on your wedding day. There are often multiples of images, images that are out of focus, or images that look unflattering. Those are removed from the collection so that you receive only the best pictures.
- What is optimization and how many images are optimized?
-
Optimization is a post-production process that makes sure all of the images have the correct exposure, contrast, color temperature, sharpness, etc. All of your images will be individually optimized (no batch editing) to make sure you get the best final product possible.
- Do you do destination weddings?
-
Yes! I love doing destination weddings. Anything outside of a 100-mile radius of Ocala, FL will require additional arrangements prior to signing a contract.
- How will i receive my images?
-
A private, online gallery will be set up for you to download and share your images. You will also receive a flash drive with all of your images. Additional flash drives can be purchased for $15 each.
- How many images will I receive?
-
Depending on how many hours of coverage you have contracted, typically you will receive 350-500 high-resolution, optimized images.
- What if you haven't shot at my venue before?
-
If I haven’t shot at your venue before I will make every effort to travel out to your venue several weeks before your wedding. This will allow me to become familiar with the space and take a few test shots so that there are no “unknowns” on the day of your wedding.
- My venure is very dark. How will you handle this type of situation?
-
Advancements in modern cameras and lenses allow for excellent photography in low-light situations. I also travel with ample lighting gear so that if space and time permits, I can set up additional lighting for the best results.
- Do you offer a second shooter?
-
Yes, I do offer a second shooter. I work with several local photographers whom I know will also provide quality work. I also have an assistant that travels with me to all of my weddings at no additional charge.
- What rights do I have to the images?
-
You have the right to reprint the images whenever you would like. However, you may not sell your images for profit or publish your images without the written consent of Tall Guy & Co. Photography.
- How much does it cost to reserve a date?
-
In order to reserve a date, a non-refundable 10% down payment is required at the time of contract signing.
- When is my final payement due?
-
By the day of your wedding, 50% of your total contract must be payed in order for you to receive your images. Following that, the remaining balance can be paid with a payment plan which will be agreed upon in the contract.
- What forms of payment do you accept?
-
I accept cash, check and credit cards. For your convenience, credit card payments can be made directly on your client profile.
- What is your philosophy regarding wedding photogaphy?
-
Wedding photography is an intricate mix of fine art photography, portraiture, and photojournalism. During the meetings leading up to your wedding, I will be sure to go over what types of images you are looking for and the timeline of your wedding day. YOU are the client and I will do everything I can to make sure you get the images you want to look back on in the years to come.
